2010, Renee Jolley. Renee is the Founder and Head of School at Roxbury Roots Montessori, an affordable education option for families with young children. It’s located in Bartlett Station, a mixed-use development that began its revitalization by BlueHub borrowers Nuestra Comunidad Development Corporation and Windale Developers in 2010.

2000, BlueHub Staff. BlueHub has had its office in Roxbury since 2000. We moved to our new office, pictured above, in 2025.

2006, David Crawford. David owns a home in Windale Developers’ Garrison Trotter, a multi-phase affordable homeownership development in Roxbury. BlueHub has supported the evolution of Garrison Trotter with multiple loans since 2006.

1986–2025, Roxbury, MA. The Roxbury neighborhood is located in the geographic heart of Boston. BlueHub has provided $147 million in financing — and leveraged an additional estimated $910 million — in the neighborhood since 1986.

2002, Arnold Johnson. Arnold, who grew up in Roxbury, is the co-owner of Crosswinds Enterprises and Windale Developers — an affordable housing developer in Roxbury and BlueHub borrower since 2002.

2023, Nubian Markets. Nubian Markets is a grocery store and café located in Bartlett Station, a development funded in part by BlueHub between 2010 and 2022, which offers culturally diverse foods. It opened in 2023.

2015, Haley House. Local nonprofit Haley House uses food to build community and create opportunity for those in need. In 2015, BlueHub helped them purchase the bakery and cafe, commercial teaching kitchen and catering space they have been operating out of for a decade.

2024, Adler Bernadin. Adler, who grew up in Roxbury, is the owner of Norfolk Development and Lavi Investments — an affordable housing developer in Roxbury and Boston, and BlueHub borrower.
